About the group
As a controlling shareholder, Ridera a.s. controls business activities conducted by its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Poland strategically. By its business activities, the company continues the 20-year tradition of solid fuel trading.
The Ridera Group is a key importer of black coal and coke from Poland; it has imported over 10 million tonnes of solid fuels from this country since 1992. Other major business areas are production and selling of aggregates and recyclates, construction waste purchase, earthworks, demolitions, selling of metallurgical materials and engine fuels. Moreover, the company operates its own freight trucking.

The philosophy of Ridera a.s. is aptly expressed in the company’s motto “Tradition with new vision”. Through the philosophy, the company lays emphasis on a 20-year tradition and, at the same time, keeping up with modern trends and progression of time.

Selling of Solid fuels
Solid fuels represent strategic and long-lasting commodity of the company, offering a wide range of products, including packaged fuels. We are planning dynamic development in the markets of the Czech and Slovak Republics, Austria and Poland. In the coming years, it is our company’s strategy to expand the network of our multi-purpose logistic sites in order to boost the sales promotion together with purchase comfort for our customers.

Aggregates and recyclates selling
Using our own technology, we produce and supply you with all kinds of aggregates for construction purposes. We offer mined and sorted gravel, mortar sand, crushed quarry stone, natural crushed stone from the heap, slag, rubble (concrete, asphalt and bricks), recycled backfilling materials.

Purchase of building materials and recycling
Within our own network of collection and distribution sites, we buy building waste (concrete, bricks, asphalt, soil) which, using our own technology, is further recycled, used or dumped as a part of remediation process.

Earthworks and demolitions
We prepare sites for foundations of constructions comprehensively, i.e. demolitions of constructions including construction waste recycling, remediation of sites, remediation of slopes and earthworks in preparation for line constructions.

Selling of metallurgical materials
Direct contacts with several key producers both from Central and Eastern Europe, such as Evraz Vítkovice Steel Ostrava, HutaPokój R. Slaska Poland, make it possible to create high-quality and financially interesting continuous supply especially of rolled steel products, mainly for selected groups of end users (ship building industry, railways, heavy steel constructions) with long-lasting contracts; we lay emphasis on foreign operations and supranational businesses including project financing model.

Transport
As part of its own operations, the Group has new articulated vehicles for transportation of solid fuels and aggregates in the Central European region.

Fuel trading
We offer diesel oil and engine oils at attractive prices which we are able to obtain due to bulk purchases from several reputable producers. We provide supplies from refineries of OMV, Slovnaft or stocks of Čepro company.

The Ridera Group is a partner of HC Vítkovice, the extra league hockey team, and an important sponsor of cultural and sports events not only in the region. Moreover, charitable activities are inseparable part of the corporate policy and culture.

Sports and relaxation centre
owned by the company is opened both for the employees of the Ridera Group and people from the Ostrava region to provide them with relaxation and entertainment. In the centre, it is possible to organize sport-cultural corporate or private events or enjoy its sport (tennis, badminton, Spinning, gym, mini golf) and relaxation facilities individually (swimming pool, sauna, massages).
